Default 5/10NLCASH - Top set on bad board vs. c/r what\'s your line and why?

We've been playing about 10-15 minutes. I bought in for 500 and doubled through with 78 on a 9 10 J board vs. his QJ. Other than that, pretty standard preflop, flop betting.

PeopleMover is at seat 0 with $1213.50.
blingbling MF is at seat 1 with $1268.
The button is at seat 0.

PeopleMover posts the small blind of $5.
blingbling MF posts the big blind of $10.

PeopleMover: Qc Qd
blingbling MF: -- --

Pre-flop:

PeopleMover raises to $30. blingbling MF calls.

Flop (board: Th 9h Qh):

blingbling MF checks. PeopleMover bets $50.
blingbling MF raises to $185. PeopleMover ????????

I play NL50, not NL1K. So I am not really sure what's std in YOUR limit. But if your villain is pretty std(as you described him), then you've got to play std with your top set on very heavy board.
If it was NL50 and std(descent opponent), I would rr 2.5 and get it in anyway, even knowing that his range is pretty nice for him here.

Get it in and be happy about it. And also, don't play 1000NL if you are not rolled for it to buy in full. Just advice.

Folding top set is out.

Calling here seems bad to me because of so many scare cards to hit the turn (heart, K,J,8 etc) that will kill your action if you are ahead or force you to fold if he bets out. As well, just calling here means you will probably have to call down at least one more bet if not two on the turn and river.

So, its either raise or shove IMO. His range for check raising here is pretty large and you are ahead of most of it (lower set, two pair, draw) and have redraws against a made straight or flush. If you make a raise here you will fold to a reshove? That sucks either way IMO. I like a shove to shut down semi bluffs and you still have lots of value from lower sets and 2 pair that may call you down.

by not shoving, but reraising we add value of him shoving couple more hands(maybe more, depends on villain). On my limit it is usually way more hands, rather than I shove myself.
