Default Two new programs

I've made a couple of programs, maybe someone will find them useful.

"Prefloper" will help you to choose a nearly optimal preflop strategy for the most popular poker games like Texas Hold’em and Omaha (limit versions primarily). All strategies used are calculated using quite simple rules made by Ed Hutchison (plus one by myself). It's a tool for the new players mostly.

"Poker Luck Meter" analyses hands of the player from Poker Tracker database, comparing real number of various poker events with their expected number (events like frequency of dealing any pocket cards, frequency of improvement of pocket cards on flop and showdown, etc.). The program gives you expected and real number of events, plus the probability rate to get such number of real events. This tool is for those who use PT and want to check their "luck" or room's RNG randomness.

Both programs are free, have no adware or any malware functions. You can find them here: http://www.softforpoker.com/mysoft.htm

I understand your suspicions. I can say I'm a gambling webmaster and own sites like best-bonuses.com and couple of popular Russian sites since 2003 (poker-online.ru you can check through whois), GPWA member and member of Casinomeister forum (same nick there). Maybe some active Russian posters here can speak for me too. I just have no time to visit this forum, it's too big, but I'm pretty active at two Russian forums one of which I own (forum.onlinecasinos.ru)

P.S. both programs require MS NET Framework.

I gave luck meter a try. It doesn't appear to be dangerous virus or spyware according to my virus and spyware check. It looks promising but I couldn't really use it. Two things to fix:

First, I can't read the key yellowish-orange numbers above and below the rainbow bars. Make a version that uses better contrast fonts and make them bigger too. Black on gray seems dull but it works.

Second, most ordinary users will not have MS NET framework on their computers. Finding and dowloading the right software and the right version is not simple. I eventually found ver 3.0 and used it and it worked on XP. Tell users the best url to use to download it.

Just my opinion. GL

BTW I just noticed that you do give a Net Framework URL in the readme document. You may want to make it a popup message from the software itself.

I'm intrigued by this new and exciting product. But what's the catch? How can you afford to give away such amazing and fantastic progams? I feel like I'm ripping you off by getting this spectactacular stuff for free!

Thank You!

Pokerlogist, ty!
I know about yellow, but I decided it's still readable. I'll think about changing color.
NET Framework is a problem , but all latest development tools require it . Version 1.1 was in XP SP2 and it's also available through Windows autoupdate.

For those who thought that programs worth a look, but was unsure about security.
Program were checked for malware by QArchive:
http://prefloper.yuri-koreshkov.qarc...rusreport.html
http://pokerluckmeter.yuri-koreshkov...rusreport.html

You can get both programs from CDNET/Download.com
Prefloper: http://www.download.com/3000-2647-10593226.html
PLM: http://www.download.com/Poker-Luck-M...ml?tag=lst-0-1
Programs are hosted by CDNet itself and before adding they pass serious malware tests, more about it: http://cnet.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/cne...p_sid=Jrdjz-ki (question 6).

And finally, both programs do not need Internet access, you can block them with your firewall (only exception is PLM if you use Postgre DB, it will try to connect localhost:5432, which is Postgre default server on your local machine).
