Which book is generally considered to be the best "first read" for PLO H/L?

Flame: I think I dislike you more than davebreal. you are certainly more pompous and full of it than him.

Take your delusion of high importance elsewhere.

My pompous remark was a statement about the lack of PLO8 publications and had nothing to do with how awesome of a player that I am. Some of the players that post on here are much more knowledgable on PLO8 than authors that have 2 pages devoted to it in their LO8 books.

That's an almost impossible statement

he was actually giving an honest answer here, there is a wealth of PLO8 discussion here, including the archives... this was the building blocks for many of today's winning players. wintermute especially posted some interesting hands as well as critiqued others' hands impressively.

as far as people not liking me... that is mainly weak-tight calling stations like "magicmike" who blame me for the poor play and then do nothing but post boring bad beats here. i am one of the friendlier and talkative people out there... i have met a lot of interesting people through online and live poker.

basically if you have no sense of humor, or are a whiny sissy you will certainly hate me.

Is that a Boolean 'If' or an Interweb-loose-grammarish 'If'?

Suppose I fall into both categories, I'm not obligated to hate you right?

I don't highly dislike anyone, but I just have to add here my displeasure for Predator not necessarily hitting and running (it's his choice when to stop), but just abruptly leaving me.

At least two times this month, after winning a few flips at 10/20nl or 25/50nl, he'll start talking to me, and then halfway through our conversation (While playing, mind you), he'll just immediately leave the table while playing elsewhere (usually much lower).

Not a flame or anything... just a wtf?

I play 20bb NLO8 from 5/10 - 25/50. Everyone I play knows this. When both my stack and my opponents stack > 30bb's, I leave. It is no secret. Sometimes I double up and leave right away, sometimes I lose 7 flips before I leave. 99% of the time, I immediately start another table. If I didnt, it was because I wasnt going to be playing much longer, and the lower table 5/10 that I was sitting at I must have been finishing a session, not starting. GL should you choose to challenge me.
