[/ QUOTE ] My thoughts were that there will only be one immunity idol, whoever finds it first. It's possible that after the first idol was found, the producers removed the idol from the yellow camp and replaced it with a copy without that message on the back. I don't remember anyone mentioning there were definitely 2 idols, and every time it's been referred to in the show it's been "the hidden immunity idol", very singular. Whatever the case is, I doubt Erik is going to have the idol next week. That just wouldn't make any sense.

This means that you don't have to burn votes the first time, you just have to make James think you are voting for him when you are actually voting for someone else. [/ QUOTE ] I didn't watch last season but on the season with Yul I'm almost sure after every vote was read the host said "Unless you have the immunity idol, bring me your torch," so the idol would be played only if necessary. I don't know how it's supposed to work this time. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, two season's ago that is how they did it, but last season they changed it so that the idol has to be played before the votes are read. I think that is how it is this season.

I forget which season, but Vecepia was a floater who won it all.
There have been many immunity/reward challenge studs, but Colby Donaldson of Survivor Australia was the original. Not only was he a stud, but he was loyal to his main alliance to the point of basically giving her the win...AND was happy about it. I 100% think he would do it again and again. There are men, and there are men. The voting was close. I think he thought he could do it his way and still have a chance to win, but was actually more happy to come in second than to be a weasel to someone he had alligned himself with and who he respected. What a rare bird. Re: Vote Jaime over Erik... With James and Frosti still in play, it seems like Erik is kind of irrelevant. Jaime is a weasel, and weasels are fairly big threats to everyone. Plus, Todd is a weasel and weasels don't like to get out-weaseled. Helping the most dangerous physical threat acquire two immunity idols seems stupid, but I'll believe it when I don't see James give it right back...bless his heart. There is typically some kind of keep-your-balance-on-something-precarious or the-size-of-a-pencil challenge. James could be vulnerable then. Also, sometimes they do something where players answer questions and get to pick someone else's plaque to smash. It tends to reveal alliances and pecking orders. Can also be a place where a specific person is targeted by the whole and there's not much they can do about it. Jeff told them to drop their buffs on the previews for next week. Was it merge? or random reallignment again? I will be pretty impressed with JRB if he can get himself established in a real alliance or even make some kind of run to the final four. I'd really like to see him try to pull together James, the lunch lady, Frosti, and Erik. Mostly because those are the people I'd like to see win this and I could just root for the whole team, besides JRB, of course. But also, I think his chances with and against that group are about as good as he could hope for. He can't allign with fellow back stabbers because naturally, they won't trust him. He should allign with the more straight forward players and then try to run the show. That is my pipe dream.
