Default FTP rakeback on existing account

I am sure this has been asked before and i did search but turned up nothing.

Is it possible to get rakeback at Full Tilt on an existing account? If not, are you allowed to open up a new account for the purposes of rakeback or is that against the rules? I opened a Full Tilt account many years back before I even knew what rakeback was.

Hi Optionsguy....

If you have a real money active account at FT then you wont be able to get rakeback on it. If you open a duplicate account, FT will simply close it and make you play on your original account

Kind regards

I have a similar question. I have the FT s/w on my PC, I have used it to sweat friends but I have never played with play or real money. In fact, I have just checked and I do not appear to have entered any personal details apart from an email address.

Am I still classed as or be traced as having an existing account?

I emailed Full Tilt about getting rakeback on my existing account. This is what I got in reply:

"I apologize but we can not add Rakeback to an
existing player account. However we are looking into organizing something that will help people with accounts that are not tagged to an affiliate. We have added your username to our file for further consideration. Please be patient."

Anybody know what that means?
