Default Lazy Sunday Board Reading Quiz

So I'm bored, had a good day yesterday and I haven't convinced myself that I want to return any of my profits back to the endless money void that is online poker.

Earlier this week I watched Bottomset's NL25 videos and was really impressed by how fast he could read a board and tell what the nuts where with the cards that where out and if there was gutshots and soforth. (I know this is childs-play for a lot of you) I have also been reading Angel Largay's "No-Limit Texas Hold'em: A complete course" and he stressess being able to read a board quickly in order to focus on your opponents and their reactions. This quiz is a direct rip-off of one he presents in his book. Now his book is mostly focused on live play and obviously you can't see your opponents online. However, most online players play multiple tables at once, so I still think this ablility will improve your game. At least it might keep you from timing out and folding Aces. Ok enough pre-ramble. Here's the quiz. I took my brand new, shiny, Full Tilt Poker playing cards and dealt out five random hands. Should you choose to participate, I want you to list in descending order the first through the seventh nut hand. Why that many hands you say? Well, we can often quickly see the nuts, but, and I know this effects me, sometimes its hard to see what's next in line.

I would also suggest that you hit the reply button before reading anyone elses responses. Thats cheating and you know it's not going to help your game as much as using your own brain. I'll post my answers later after people have stopped responding. If you think this was a good Idea, say so in your responses. Have fun.

Board #1

5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Board #2

4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Board #3

9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Board #4

6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Board #5

A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Ok, get to it. I'm going to leave some blank space so you can't "accidentally" see the first response.

Just hit reply. There is no money involved. Cheating is not going to get you ahead.

Nice idea, Vimes! I, too, was impressed with the speed in which BS rattled off the possible hands. Definitely something to aspire to.
