Thanks for the replies, but I'm curious. You say this book is for the micro games, however in one of Sunny's posts from the original review thread he says (referring to a question of raising AQo OTB):

Doesn't this contradict what you're saying (that this book has good advice for mainly micro/SS live games)?

When I said "low stakes", I just meant stakes generally lower than like $10-$20 or $5-$10 or whatever, I wasn't referring to a specific level. There might be a huge difference between how, say, a $1-$2 game and a $.25-$.50 plays. For me there's no point in making generalizations there because game tendencies are so cyclical depending on site, time of day, day of week, lineup, post- or pre-leg, etc. When, for example, a student of mine has a specific question about a hand/line/whatever, I usually just make them be really explicit about explaining opponent types.

What I found alarming is that volume 1 leaves off saying that it won't so much as discuss how big a raise preflop one could call with a small pocket pair - that's reserved for volume 2 due to lack of space. How can the readers think that volume 2 will go into any real depth unless it's 4 times the size of volume 1?

I can appreciate if you want to spend a lot of pages establishing what vernacular you will use and a structured way of thinking. But just tell me there will be 5 volumes.
