Default Oaks Card Club Emeryville Ca

I am moving to the north bay next week which means the 20 game at bay 101 is too far of a drive. I was curious about Oaks card club's 15-30 and if any you guys know anything about that casino or the games there. Any info would be great, thanks.

Search is your friend. Here are two of the half dozen or so threads found for this year:

Trip report: The Oaks Club, Emeryville, CA

The Oaks in the Bay Area

Their 15-30 game is their highest limit. So it attracts their "high rollers". I often saw people sit down with 3-4K$ which is a bit much for that game normally. From what I could see, it tends to be a very agressive table. Only been there a few times recently, so my data could be off

30-60 game runs every day now. As for the 15 it's really tight and aggressive and tough, so def stay away . PM me for info. I play there 3-4 times/ week.

I finally checked out the 15-30 a couple of weeks ago and honestly it was exactly how bdaddy described it, but I was running like deep-space cold as well.

The AJ's 15-30 side games are infinitely more fun. The main game is unbeatable imo but thats been discussed enough in other threads already.

Also its only an hour to Bay 101 & GC, and used to be worth it when the GC 20-40 game was nice and psychotic. I hear its mellowed considerably however and I havent had the cash to find out personally, would love to get a current TR on it..

I have been playing the 15-30 game at oaks on and off for the last year or so as well. Been thinking of moving up to the 30-60. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on that game.

Sorry...just read the linked thread
thanks

swope, in my recent 5 session experience at GC 20-40, it is currently tougher than the Bay 101 20-40.

Not on weekdays, it isn't. Unless you have a helicopter.

its really not that bad; i leave from ocean beach or SOMA in sf at 7pm on a weeknight and get there at 8pm - 8:15pm at the latest taking 280.

and the trip back when the roads are empty is pretty blissful. its a well kept piece of road and not too many police except around specific areas. 101, well, thats a whole different story. horrid traffic, terribly maintained surface.
