He's looking for us to apply Bayes' rule and a utility function to a problem with uncertainty. The game is played against an agent that bets an amount based on what hand he has. i.e. if he has a royal flush there is an x probability he will bet $a, y probability of betting $b and so on. This table is known to the agent playing against him. For bonus, this table is not known to us and we develop it as the game progresses...
