Im not good at reading HH's. I think you opened in the CO.

PREFLOP: I would cap here getting 2-1 on youre money with a very strong hand for your situation. I think youre missing value by just calling this raise.

FLOP: I also would raise, once the PF 3bettor check/3bets I would probably call one more and fold the turn unimproved unless I had a read that hes a moron.(Yes I saw the results)

TURN: I see that you went all in. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever do this again. There is no excuse for running out of money when playing limit holdem. Only fish make this very -EV play of having their stack so low they end up going all in. I will assume you dont wanna be a fish so dont do this.

Playing short stacked isn't always "very -EV". Barry Greenstein advocates short stack play, even in LHE.

Edit: Playing shortstacked can allow you to realize all of your equity in situations where it would be cost prohibitive to. Best place for this would be SS/BB blind battles.

well the whole point was i knew i only had a certain number of chips left so i picked the best spot to protect my hand. that was on the turn. but the sb makes a ridiculous 3-bet and spikes an A on the river. i agree playing shortstacked is bad but i dont have any bank accounts and just get transferred money as i need it. and i happened to be down to this before i had a chance to get some more.

As long as you play better than the other guy, it is.

Wtf?! I know he advocates it for NL but for LHE as well? That's hard to believe.

How the hell does short stack LHE work anyways? Buy in for 3 big bets, cap any AK/TT+ hand and then cross your fingers?
