Default AK

did i went to far with my hand?

PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, CO :#A500AF(CO)/ calls, 2 folds, BB 3-bets, Hero caps, CO :#A500AF(CO)/ calls, BB calls.

Flop: (12.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, BB raises, Hero calls, CO calls.

knew was probably beat there, but the pot is so big i call the raise.

Turn: (9.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, Hero calls, CO folds.

i was hoping that when i call CO would of fold here but if he would ever rasie there i would of fold.
i though this is serioulsy a big pot and 6 outs is a little less then 7-1 to catch, even if im not sure to win with an A or K i think the pot was pretty huge to compensate,so i call

River: (11.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls $0.50 (All-In).
he check i think the A frozen him,it was a trap or a sure win so i bet

Final Pot: 12.75 BB

You don't have six outs. You MIGHT have six outs. You might have three outs. You might have zero.

If you always take the most optimistic amount of odds you have, then you will lose bets hand over fist.

You should learn how huge the pot needs to be in order to compensate, rather than hoping.

If Villain has AA, you're drawing dead.
If Villain has KK, you're drawing to three outs, so the pot has to be more than 14 BB for you to call.
If Villain has basically anything else given his action, you have six outs and can draw profitably.

Normaly you're right I think we could fold on Turn, but here is different BB is running out of money so there is a good chance that he is on tilt. So i like it.

So how many outs we have?
In my opinion (im begginer) we have here 4 outs so about 10,5:1
so if we at 50% can 1BB at river if we improve we make marginal $

BUT we still dont know if 3th player raise turn (we dont have position)
BUT aggressor can be at tilt

Here are many variebles to analize to make good decision.
I dont have experience to show how to add this all important variebles.

If any can show any pattern how to do it it would be nice

I don't understand all the talk about outs. You fell into an Ace on the river (lucky you) and he called his last bet. It looks like your opponent was looking to rack off for whatever reason. If he's getting into the pot with a short stack just grit your teeth and get him all in or fold on the river. Strategy goes right out the window once he has only one BB in front of him.

Over cards I always count 1.5 outs for each card, you don't have a lot more than this, because sometimes you will hit but still loose

But because se size of the pot it was ok
