I think a hand with 6 outs like QJ would be the type of hand we are hoping to fold out. You are also going to get small pocket pairs to fold sometimes.

I think you will get a QJ, QT, and other broadway cards with no backdoor flush potential or gutshot to fold often enough to make it worthwhile.

Luke, remember that the numbers OP is using for equity come from PokerStove. They take into account being drawn out by, say, KTo hitting a ten. Again, too, I think you're trying to have your cake and eat it, too: a player that would fold any hand that we want folded here is unlikely to have seen the flop. Finally, the hands you're talking about make up such a small portion of the Villans' combined hand range that even if they got folded 100% of the time, it's not worth it...

...is fold hands. I'm not disputing that Hero should raise, I'm just arguing as to WHY. Against these two dumbasses, you have enough equity with AK to be raising for value on the flop, not protection or anything else.
