I've found that on Christmas the mornings suck but as the day goes on and people start getting sick of being around family the tourist start pouring in after dinner.

I'm Jewish, and when I was a kid, my family always went out to dinner and the parents often took in a show on Xmas eve. I think my parents really liked that for that one night they were the majority.
