Re: Rest: How long is long enough?

Thremp, This is actually a case where you seem more patient than me. [/ QUOTE ] I'm on wild balls out monkey tilt. I guess it makes me put more effort in my posts since I can kinda commiserate with the level of posting since it matches my results? I dunno. Weird logic. |

Re: Rest: How long is long enough?
Lift 3 days a week, scheduling every other day and giving yourself a 2 day rest period with your cheat day thrown in there as well. Should be enough.

Slammin,
Height and BF %? But really in all seriousness you need to develop this feel for yourself and in all likelihood it'll never be finally tuned. Just see what happens and try not to hurt yourself. |

[/ QUOTE ] You do realize that all these questions I'm throwing at you don't help me give you an answer, but are questions that affect the subject and you should consider. Like if you have a ton of stress in your life, you should cut down on volume and intensity of workouts. I've heard some guys can only train once every 10 days at the extreme (full body). |

Re: Rest: How long is long enough?
It depends on how fast youre central nervous system recovers. Some people could lift every other day, others can only lift once a week. Also just because you don't feel soreness doesn't mean that your body has recovered..
Also each muscle group is different. Your legs take alot longer to recover than your abs from each workout. |
