Default AKs huge pot (again)

Table is loose. Made a good bit of money earlier off button(AF of 2.67 after 61 hands), who bet continuously, and even re-raised on river with nothing. I wasn't sure what to do, TPTK is usually a letdown in a pot with this many players... but

1- the only player attacking the pot appears to be an absolute moron.

2- by the time I realized I was beat (when the button capped and everyone called) the pot was MASSIVE and worth a bet no matter what it seemed.

Would you have played this differently? was the 3-bet off? I threw it out there because i thought the MP's were drawing and I put button on an extremely broad range.

I agree that I'm not feeling great after both MP's call two cold on the turn, but up until that point I play this the same. Once Button caps the turn, I call and then c/c the river expecting to see MPx draw the pot with 67 or something.

I think you are good > 1/30 of the time, though.

Check/raise the flop.

As played I would 3 bet the turn also against the player described.

what was his VPIP?...Im assuming his VPIP was like 40+ since you used the word 'moron' to describe him.

you have ideal position to CR the flop and get this heads up

Check/raise the turn.

Check/raising the flop lays 10-1 to the field. You have to wait for the turn here. (I think. I've never been good at this.)

his VPIP was actually only 22... which was surprising. I called him a moron because he reraised down to the river in a big pot with several players calling and raising and J high or something crappy with no draws.

also, after playing at this table for a while I just had a feeling that there was a legitimate chance that these guys might actually check through despite the size of the pot. I suppose I should give them more credit and go for the check raise
