Being the PF raiser in the SB I figured that there was a good chance that it would have gotten checked through giving all everyone a free look at the turn. Just bet till I met any resistance. When I got river raised I was thinking that the BB had some sort of a 6x hand where x=anything really or some hand like a few of you suggested like KJ, K7 etc. I called the river knowing I was probably beat but for one more I was going to see. BB turns over JJ and wins with a boat. I issued him a certificate that said "Most likely to be passive when floppping a set" He was so proud.

I think you were forced to play it the way you did. It would have been nice to work in a raise somewhere but you can't count on it with a passive table when you were the PF raiser from the SB. Another example of the importance of position.

I think that BB had a set and rivered a full house. He acted immediately after you and was "afraid" of losing the field if he faced them all with two bets. Plus he knew he had a lock on the river with the paired board.

Yea, that is true about him not knocking out other players but he wasn't even capable of thinking even on this kind of a level. He ewas simply a passive player happy to call. Played all his hands this way the entire time it turned out. He was losing a lot when I left to cash out.

Ack, hate players that are this passive. Although it's nice when you both get a monster and they let you away for the minimum.
