Default Hosting Question

I have a simple hosting question. I registered a domain using bluehost. It was something like 90 bucks for the domain and a year of hosting. Now, I want to register a second domain, totally independent of the first one. Bluehost says that I have the pay the hosting fee again? Is that the same at other hosting companies? Just want find out what the standard is for this situation, as I am trying to start a bunch of sites using JoshK's method in his Daily Adsense Routine post. Thanks for any help.

No, thats not standard.

Change hosts and use another registrar.

I use a2hosting and have never had any complaints for my hosting. My domains are registered with either godaddy or gandi.net(a few randoms at other places but not many).

yeah, you're totally overpaying. you can easily get $5-10/mo hosting that can host over 100 domains.

$8-10 for decent registration/year
$5-10 for basic hosting/mo

I use godaddy to register, and hostgator to host. Just tell whichever host you are using to point the new domain to a subfolder.
