ALL-IN AND SAVE ME THE TORTURE OF READING THIS.
This is the most inefficient thread ever.

Call preflop is fine, I would be more prone to call here in later possition. Check the flop and move on to the something of [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] turn that will make this hand somewhat interesting.

Sorry for the delay. Ok, so I check the flop. LP checks fairly quickly behind me. I don't think he has much at all.

The turn is the ace non-diamond giving me an inside straight draw.

SB checks, continuing to show weakness. The BB thinks it over for a while. As he is thinking he takes a sip of his tea, and I know this is going go sound weird, but he suddenly throws up all over the floor. Luckily he missed the table and cards. I had not seen him throw up ever before, but I did see him burp heavily and kinda throw up in his mouth a little bit once, and on that hand he was slowplaying a monster. So its a bit tough to say exactly what info to take from the throw up. Anyway, he checks.

Now folded over to the initial raiser who almost insta-checks. He could possibly have just hit trip aces. He does slowplay a lot...but man thats a weird way to play them.

Well now for the second time this has been checked to me. I'm 90% sure that the SB has nothing and that the LP had nothing on the flop. Not sure about the other two. Now whats your move?

btw, I just want to add:

Please don't fully trust the reads that I'm giving you. I am trying to give you my honest thoughts on each player BEFORE THIS HAND, but this was the first time I had played with most of them, so these aren't really strong reads. Take them for what they're worth please.

I fold due to risk of reraise from behind.

I concur.

OP, if you were in a later position with a lot of callers in front, I'd definitely call. However, if I saw somebody call a minraise, I would believe that the callers are really weak and that a big enough repop would get rid of most of them. I would also think that a lot of players behind you would repop with a larger range of hands simply because it is only a minraise.

Not the right spot to play connectors.

But don't you think that the min raise from a tricky player would deter many players from minraising? Moreover since I made a rather strange call out of position, don't you'd think that perhaps they'd even put me on a monster?

I think you're giving your opponents too much credit.

Anyways, check/fold flop. UTG's actions stink of a slowplay to me.

I start laughing hysterically.

Edit: can you clarify the board and pot size and participants for everyone just to make it easier?

Stack sizes are approximate due to my fuzzy memory, but they were somewhat close to this IIRC:

SB- 14,000
BB- 25,000
EP- 21,000
Me- 17,000
LP- 15,000

Board: 2h-7d-Jc-As

My hand: 4d5d

I'm still loving the 'pukes in his mouth' tell. And I still can't how we can bet here with 4 outs, which aren't clean, into a five way pot. The most I'd do is watch LP for a position raise and then force myself NOT to come over the top of that if everybody else folds.

This thread has been worth it for the barfing but when does the hand get interesting? This is like a £10 freezeout on Crypto.
