Any laptop that can drive 2560x1600 Dell 3007WFP?

I finnally got my Dell 30" but unable to hook it up to my laptop. I have search all over my city for a laptop that will drives the 30" Dual Link DVI and found 2 laptop with a DVI interface in the whole [censored] city but it only drives up to 2048x1536 resolution. Anyone know a laptop will support this beast? thanks

apple macbook pro. you will have to use bootcamp to get XP which will prolly be mad annoying

i am also very interested to know if any other laptops can support it

I've been waiting on something for 6+ months. Only laptop I have seen is the macbook. I find it so strange that there is still nothing to support this. You would think DELL would be on top of it by now.

I found this post in the Dell forum.

I would appreciated if someone can confirm it, but it does make sense that it will support it because it is a Dual 512MB NVidia® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS - SLI Enabled, that's 1G graphic card!

Dell recommends DUAL 1GB nVidia™ GeForce™ 7950GX2 Dual GPU SLI graphics cards, but this is another 900GBP.
They said I could use 1GB nVidia™ GeForce™ 7950GX2 Dual GPU graphics card at 1/3 of the above price, but the quality will suffer. Is this a serious concern (ie. visibly different) or just not as optimal?

I talked to the Alienware people not too long ago and they said they did not offer a Dual Link DVI on a laptop. Is this a new product? I'm skeptical as the tech specs do not state it is Dual Link DVI but if someone can confirm or deny you never know.

Centgas I think you have been mislead by DELL. The problem is that a lot of graphics cards do not support Dual Link DVI. Adding a 2nd video card that does or does not support Dual Link DVI will not change the compatibility with the 3007. (By this I mean run at full resolution)
