Default Motor city e-tables coming back soon....

Today a floor manager confirmed my suspicion (is that spelled right?) that they're going to add e-tables (see my thread from maybe a month ago). According to him, there will someday soon be 2 added outside the poker room. It will probably be loud up there w/ the slot machines, but that area will at least be non-smoking. Unfortunately they don't plan to add any more "regular" tables.

I don't know about the bbj. I think they'll run the smaller games ($3-6 and maybe $5-10) on there and maybe a $50-200 from time to time. I never played them, but I think that's in line with how they operated in the old room.

How come the detroit poker rooms don't offer games other than hold'em? Any info on MGM's projected poker-room?

Motor City:
Tues and Sat - 15/30 Round by Round
Sat - 5/10 Kill O8B

Greek:
Wed - 20/40 Round by Round
5/10 300 min PLO at least 2 days a week
Not enough interest to get Stud games going and Greektown will spread limit Omaha anytime there is enough interest for a game.

Hell, this is the only city where you have to go to private rooms to get limit games above 10/20...its very sad

The interest is in Hold 'em, specifically no-limit hold 'em.

The rumor for the past 5 months or so is that they'll open in October w/ 8 tables.

It still makes me sick coming from the Foxwoods area (20-40 all the time) that the best they can do is once a week on Wed. with a round by round. Even a sustained 15-30 game would be sweet around here.

yeah well the rooms here have been so poorly run that the higher limit players have all moved to underground games. To play 2040 - 40/80 you have to hit those games...I have made a conscious decision not to play in those games because I have been in a room when it was robbed...and I won't be again.
