Default 2 Team Parlay - need comments & feedback.

Hi!

I'm totally new to this Sports Betting, so I'd like to get some feedback. I made one parlay, how bad is this? I made my decision according to the wagerline.com consensus picks, am I on the wrong track?

2 Team Parlay

New York Knicks -1
Miami Heat -4½

depends how much you are wagering. Small bets...then you need at least 4 picks. Consensus picks could be good start, but I've found it is far from guarantee. Either a team wins by a certain amount or not or score points or not. I'm a fan of thinking for yourself and maybe mix a little consensus in. Whatever wins for you.

Think for yourself, if your going to bet on sports, part of doing it is looking up information, stats, and making projections yourself. I dont like following somebody else's pick, because I feel like I could ahve done better myself if I lose. If I go with my own picks, atleast I know it was my fault, and I felt like I made the right picks. I spent 3-5 hour's per day looking up numbers, creating write up's, and making projections, and I have held my own in sports betting as of now. That is just my advice too you, so GL too you in the future, whatever strategy you decide to go with.

4 play is gonna get you in most cases 10-1 to 12-1. That's a lot of losses you can sustain with needing to win once. Put some time and good thought into it and get some luck and have fun with it.
