It's not in the interests of any poker site to make the minimum buy-in 40bb. [/ QUOTE ]That's bs. It makes no difference to the poker site. But we should really stop feeding the troll. P.S. I'm up a bunch on Raoh too. |

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread
Wow...I started a riot. And no, I wasn't kidding about 20 minutes. It is however possible that lines got crossed somewhere and that this is pure hearsay and not admissible in a court of law. So let's pray for a 20 minute band aid today to pave the way for a larger one tomorrow.

All my arguments are made with logic and facts and none of you have been able to refute them. [/ QUOTE ] As soon as you said ratholing is impossible online you lost any credibility. It happens at every table, every day, every hour at party. Doubling up, leaving the table for 30secs, and coming back with the minimum is ratholing. This is the major issue I have with short stackers, this is very unethical way to play. As for the argument that they change the game, I agree with this too. I switched to 6max cash because I like to play post flop poker. It is more challenging and rewarding. However, if the table gets full of short stackers, this appeal is gone. I played sngs for a long time, so I have no problem playing optimally against the short stackers. I've actually seen very few that play it well. But, it still changes the nature of a 100bb deep cash game and makes it less enjoyable for everyone. The deepstacks don't enjoy it much, and short stacking is just mindless poker for people trying to make a certain $/hr across many tables. |
