Default Unique Preflop situation

This is clearly not a standard 3 bet, villain here is 60/40/3 and just super spewy so i like isolating him, a few unknowns behind me tho so idk if isolating is a good play or folding and waiting for another hand is better

i like this thinking, I AM ALWAYS ISOLATING HIM if less players are behind, the point was to stress that i still have 3 unknowns behind me that i can get in trouble with this hand.

a hand that is a suited connector where i still have good equity if someone behind calls i like alot here, villain never folds postflop and just jams most pots

If a TAG behinds you caps it sucks

If a fish behind you calls you still get your money in with an edge and maybe position.

Also. Note that when a players has a PFR of 40 his opening standards will often be looser. Maybe 50%. The fact that its only 40% is since they will just call a lot of hands when there is a raise before them.

Seriously. When LAGtastic morons with 40-50% opening ranges open you should 3-ball just about anything playable with a bit of SD value.

Not only do you have an edge of the money going in but you will absolutely rape this guy postflop in position.

This is why 3betting with k5s is a bad play in this spot.

3betting with K5s is the sign of an inflated ego. Most people who play this game today aren't dumb and will realize you're isolating lightly. They will widen their 4bet range and you will get pwned.

If it were up to me, I would remove the gradient from my avatar, delete Larm's avatar, look up the results of "K5s" on Oink's PT (while not on the button or cutoff) and then fold.
