I like the idea, but $250 is a bit too much. Most of us are low stakes chumps trying to work our way up.

If this is too hard to organize, a HU forum 32 man private tourney on Stars could be cool too.

I would do it. agree that 500 is high, not so much for me, but for most of the people in this forum. and i suppose i would have to set up a stars account first.

I can do 250 for sure, possibly do more but would want some advanced notice. Don't want to set it up myself though.

it would obviously require some time to set up. i would say the minimum would be $300 buy-in. i mean c'mon, is 300 really that much? anyways, im gonna try to contact both the sites and see if i can set something up.

$300 is really that much. Most people who post in this forum play 50-1 or 1-2, and that's over a bi to play some of the best HU players at those levels.

Not counting the $5-$30 SNG players who could never buy-in to this. If this isn't for the money, don't make it some insane amount that we won't get 32 players for.

$50 sounds about right IMO. Top 4 paid? I can only play if it's on FTP, and they're a LOT easier to set up a super stack tourney with.

Why not for like $20? You do not want to play other 2p2'ers for money, that's just stupid, so you would do it for the bragging rights. If you want those, you want more than 5 people to play in it.

I do one for 100.00. I'd rather chase fish with 500 or 1K.

I think the game would be just as tough if we make it as low as 5$ (I can do more, however). It is about bragging rights and learning, not about money. And maybe we restrict access to only regular posters on this forum (I don't mean that you should post a lot here, just so that we prevent some guys from micro stakes NL forum who don't play HU regularly from entering).

one time thing, sure, i'll do whatever, but if we're gonna make a league I think $20-50 per week would fit the bill about right for most people
