interesting that so many expect to make a higher hourly rate so far yet about half think the games will get tighter with less fish.

why do you think you will improve significantly relatively to other regs?

given this extra profit won't come from an increase in fish, it must come from improving relative to other regs. But won't all regs also keep improving, so you'll end out with msnl tables of very good regs each fighting to sit on the table where a fish is on, and each trying to get that money.

maybe there will always be enough people losing enough money that the good players will always profit.

I think the level of skill when comparing online vs live is not even close. Live players are just terrible, plain and simple, in comparision. It really is though to turn a good hourly rate online, versus live. I know some players that just have a knack for online, and some simply cannot play live due to regional complications, etc.

But don't count live out. That is where all the worst players are playing at, not online.

with respect to game difficulty, i really don't think regs are going to get better. the games are harder now than they were before, but it will definitely hit a wall if it hasn't already.

computer got reformatted but here is a hand I remember against him from awhile back. Might of got some of the action wrong, but close enough.

5/10 HU
Hero (Button) (2k)
Molswi (SB) (1.2k)

Preflop: Hero makes it $30 w/ KJo on the button, Molswi calls.

($60)Flop: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Molswi leads for $50, I make it $180, Molswi calls.

($420) Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Molswi checks, Hero bets $260, Molswi re-raises $540, I push for $400 more and he calls.

Molswi has a7 or a8
