I don't really think that berating fish hurts the game much. Some fish may even get a kick out of it. I just think it shows that the one who is doing the berating is a pathetic/bitter human being. I've never seen anyone berate someone in a live game without thinking of how disgusting and pathetic the one doing the berating was. I see no reason why that wouldn't hold true online.
