Default set over set, not getting stacked

Not getting stacked in this set over set made me feel smart and like i saved money. Because in reverse situations most people would lose their whole stacks. But then i realized i might actually be dumb because i could just be losing value to all non set hands. on to the hand:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) internettexasholdem.com

UTG ($4941.50)
MP ($650)
CO ($1561.50)
Hero ($2658)
SB ($2099)
BB ($2440)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $10.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls $20, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $100</font>, SB (poster) calls $90, BB calls $80, MP folds.

Flop: ($320) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $225</font>, SB folds, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $450</font>, Hero calls $225.

Turn: ($1220) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $350</font>, Hero calls $350.

River: ($1920) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $715.59</font>, Hero calls $715.59.

Final Pot: $3351.18

You probably lose more money trying to avoid set over set than you do by making these sort of plays.

Any other mindset besides getting all your chips in when you hold a set, especially on that flop, is -EV.

BB isn't defending with KT/T8 especially since the SB has already tagged along. His most likely hand appears be a PP. And i think it's unlikely an over pair is value betting this river. Well played imo.
