Default Ironman problems

It seems like ftp made their whole ironman challenge and medal store to compete with Stars and their obviously better FPP system/store. Does any 1 agree that its basically a complete waste? You have to dedicate so much time spread out over the whole month to earn a few medals. You cant even play a lot like 3 times a week and get very high up. Then their store is pretty ridiculous, 3000 medals for 600$ cash ;/ Seems pretty crazy to me. What do you guys think?

i mean, what are you going to do about it?? sure, their rewards programs aren't considered to be as nice as stars, but meh, that's the way it is...keep in mind that stars is prolly more appealing for those without RB, but u have to use ur FPPs to redeem the points, so there are tradeoffs

For my level of play, rakeback+points+ironman > fpp

FTP's bonuses and promotions will never be as good as Stars'.

But you get rakeback, which more than makes up for it, IMHO.

but if ftp is trying to make their site more appealing to the avg player, the avg player doesnt know about rakeback, and will go to stars because they see the better reward system.

I doubt it. The average player also doesn't go bonus whoring, nor does he calculate EV on FPPs compared to Ironman medals and FTP points.

The "average player" think that the idea of playing against Chris Ferguson, Eric Lindgren, or any of the other big name pros is the coolest thing ever. That's why FTP markets with that in mind. Stars has come to realize this and has started adding pros to their stable as well.

as a $25NL player, FTP is the way better choice. Rakeback + Ironman + points is better then the fpps i get on Stars. Not to mention it is pretty difficult for a partime $25NL Player to get alot of fpp's on stars.
