villain is the same i played against in the last hand.he likes to lead weak when he misses the flop,he usually shuts down when he gets action.thought about raising here, but with my read i thought i could just call to save some money in case he really has hit something.also i think a call looks kinda strong on this flop.bad play by me?

make a note of it and reraise when he bets weak ... floating is good but your giving him a chance to hit when you know he is leading weak

i dont see him hitting a lot that he could feel comfortable with except th gutshot.when he hits a pair of nines, that wont make him feel very good on an a-q-x board.and if he did hit he will keep betting or c/r the turn and i will notice that he has a hand.i invest more money when i raise the flop.that was my thought about this.

Nice hand. I don't see any value in raising the flop here.

I'd prefer a standard flop raise. If you wait til the turn, he can pickup any number of draws. He could hit a flush draw, straight draw, or even the unlikely set. Also, when you only bet .45 on the turn, you're giving him odds to draw. If you're going to call flop and bet turn, make it a pot sized bet.

I much prefer just raising flop though.
