Default pot limit omaha

seriously wtf? i've been playing some 1/2 PLO (badly), but i'm still loads better than most of these donkeys. i am down like 5 buyins. how the hell are you supposed to win money in this game? getting it in ahead obviously doesn't work. flopping sets is the worst. what an ugly, ugly game.

when I started out with PLO all info I had came from one crappy website. I studied for 1 or 2 days, then started to play the lowest limit to read the board correctly and after that crushed all limits up to 2/4 I could find.

(yah, microroller, mcdonalds, happymeals, etc. )

you seriously must be running horribly. There is no way a thinking player could lose in these games.

uh, well... whenever I hear somebody say PLO I automatically think PLO8.

Is it true that there are people who play PLO (hi) and actually expect to win?

It is when you're boomswitched. But not when all your flushes miss and their sets hold up.

And your sets get cracked when their flushes come.

Their wraps hit; yours miss

You flop a straight, they go in with air and make a backdoor flush

You try only getting your money in when you're way ahead; no, that's no good, worst hand wins. So you try getting it when you're way behind; no good either.

Omaha is a nasty piece of work
