Default Is this call too loose preflop?

Live 4-8, plays worse than online .25/.50 imo. Loose, passive although there is a somewhat agressive guy on my left who seems to raise more on mood than anything else.

9 handed table, I am on the button, all limped to me.

I look down at 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
What's your play?

6 limpers? I would call with anything suited. I'd also call with things like T8o, J9o and 78o.

I think that maybe you should consider how much experience you have. As a fairly new player, I would definitely fold this hand as you would have to play well on the flop, but I think that experienced players can probably make a profit on this hand.

If the guy on your left is going to raise just to be a jerk, or will do it more than (say) 25% of the time, I'd go ahead and dump it to be safe. But if we're almost sure we can see a cheap flop with this hand, in light of the six (!) limpers, I'd definitely call.

These are super easy hands to play on the flop. If it isn't 4 to a flush or a straight or better you are basically done.

He wouldn't do it to be a jerk, I thought there was little chance he would raise. My logic was, pot odds was ridiculously good, these players suck and I had the button. My hand was also suited. I would have dumped this off suit. After pokestoving this I can see that I'm only marginally better than an average hand so it was probably a neutral ev or just slightly +ev play. Probably more neutral because of my tight table image. Although I think this hand loosened it up some because I did have to turn over this trash. I got called down lighter after this.

Also, bravos1: I did almost that good, I flopped a flush!

(Grunch)That is a very bad hand. Normally I would say fold anyway, but with the possibility of a raise from the aggressive guy on your left or the big blind, eassssy fold.
