CB,

That's way too much work.

ED,

Heard Live and Let Die on the ride home today.

Geez, you proclaim once that Euro is so good looking you'd probably [censored] him and your rep is ruined.

IMS,

Euro has strong powerful baseball-player arms. Doesn't he?

For the former, I think Boston sports fans are getting bad quick, but pretty much everyone else sucks too. Philly, garbage. NY (not so much Knicks now, but esp Mets) trash. Seattle is pretty chill so they're never that bad. Bay area is pretty solid outside of RedBean. Atlanta fans...not so good.

Speaking of which, RB is this guy right? I just wonder how he came by this site in the first place [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

[/ QUOTE ]

Is he? That's not too random though, I guess. Lots of people on this site have blogs for one purpose or another. JoA has a pretty rocking baseball one and writes articles for major publications from time to time, but no one asks what he's doing here.

Probably started out just looking for poker information, and found another place to talk about stuff. He's been reg'd since early 2k5, so it's not like he just stumbled across the site recently.

Yeah, I was asking for nominations for best Seattle/Phoenix/Boston/Cleveland/Dallas/etc fan.

On other tangents, why do people defend EricW and Assani Fisher? What about them is likable?

Also, do I hate you? I forget. I hate someone with a similar name/avatar combination, and I thought it was mrbillie for awhile. Now I think I like him 'cause he makes like 80% of the non-spastic BBV4L posts and is clutch when it comes to posting pictures of rappers, so it must be someone else.

If you don't believe I hate you, do you know who I'm confusing you with?

t0ne,

Quality, particularly wrt to shant. If you had to force CMI as a Beatles archetype who would he be? Follow-up question please. If OOT were the current Supreme Court who is who? Please do not feel the need to be race or gender rigid. Alternatively, if you're not familiar with the Supreme Court, please replace with national fast food chains. TIA and good work.

wrt to Evan's startup, bwahahahahahahahahahaha.

Assani is worth while for the SE threads he makes which end up creating a ton of debate.

EricW?.

I always get kyro and kyleb confused.

Kyro is the guy who posts incredibly well in all threads besides Red Sox threads, in which he becomes a huge insufferable homer.

Kyleb seems to be one of the most extroverted SE regulars. He's the opposite of private and really likes to get his name out there. Indians/A's/D-Backs fan and a guy who "respects intelligence". Can be crude and insufferable at times. Is knowledgable, and apparently does a lot of research on baseball, and still plays the game on a decent level. Kyleb is a great resource, in moderation. But too much of him becomes detrimental. Long-term desire to become an assitant GM.

mmb,

[/ QUOTE ]

kyleb,

You live in Seattle but come from Cleveland and for some reason this is causing you some concern. I'm not exactly sure why you'd want to move back to Cleveland outside of the hometown thing and cheaper living expenses, but even you must recognize how much it would suck. I'm pretty sure there are 4 Asians in Cleveland, consisting entirely of your family and DaveR.

Plus, you seem to have yourself a pretty nice job going right now. You're a professional gambler in the most legit way I've heard of outside of folks who work at hedge funds. None of this silly pokering for a living for you, which is probably best considering Washington has some crazy laws about that, iirc.

Work for you is all about playing baseball though, which you seem to be pretty damn good at. Not tdarko good, but that's still nothing to scoff at. My understanding is that you don't have major league aspirations like he does, rather that you just want to play well in a competitive league so good for you. My dad played and still plays a lot of MSBL, although I think he's finally going to start moving up in age classes now that he's 45ish. He was pretty good all things considered a few years ago, constantly getting the extra roster spot invites to go to Nationals if his team didn't make it. If he could've done what you are doing right now he definitely would've, but he was in the Navy and had me so no it was a no go.

You used to be coldcaller and had some pretty rocking advice for how not to get hacked with online poker. Of course, you were also a bigger ass online then than you are now. Maybe I should've considered you for "poster who seems most like an [censored] but that you'd want to spend 5 minutes with IRL." Of course, I've talked with you more than just in the forums, so I don't really think you're that big of an ass all the time.

Anway, unfortunately lots of people still aren't following your rules and are getting robbed all the time. I mean, you can lead a horse to water, right? I started using password programs immediately afterwards and have never had a problem. Of course, that might be due to hackers unwillingness to have an account with a few hundred dollars rather than go for a big score. I guess we can consider that a second line of defense I have, so that it seems more positive than me sucking and never playing.

The only other things I really know about you are that you recently ended a 3 year relationship because you weren't sure if you saw it going anywhere. That's a hard thing to do, especially after that long with no big negative like a sudden realization of cheating, but almost always turns out to be the right thing. So best of luck with that. Also, I hear your little brother is a pretty ridiculous beast at DDR. Challengers have flown in from Japan and gone home crying at the hands of little Boddy. I'm not sure if that's a real panty dropper for the ladies, but it's certainly something to be proud of when you're one of the best in the world at anything.

ok, that was kinda long so no more until after work unfortunately.

[/ QUOTE ]

holy [censored] that is long

alright, reading it now...

If you read it, what impressed you most about MyTurn2Raise in his prison thread?

Is Tuq as funny as I (and he) think he is?

Who is the best OOT poster at articulating a position thoroughly, yet consisely?

Microbob, no offense man. Just don't think we'd have much to talk about.

Meh, no problemo.
I don't know what we would talk about either.
I'll take the first part about 'presenting well on the board' as a compliment especially since I don't think that's always been the case with me.
I'm not exactly the greatest poster on here but I think I've improved a lot over the years even if it did take me almost 30k posts to do it.

Who do you think is the best troll on this site, in terms of the following criteria for a good troll: 1, inciting controversy, esp. when posting something false or that you don't believe, 2, pushing the bounds of the ToC, and 3, dodging the ban hammer?

[/ QUOTE ]

Wookie, you don't need to be bosstone to realize that the runaway answer to this is Assani Fisher. I mean come on.

His location used to be "masturbating in MicroBob's closet".
Yeah, I remember him.
