Perhaps, but he is also into Karate, math, and music. So it's not like he is just a spelling savant. Here is an interview with him that much better: Jimmy Kimmel knows how to do an interview

I didn't click any of the links.

I just saw one minute of the spelling bee, and watching the awkward exchange of high-fives after every word was enough to label every kid in the contest "home schooled".
