Default Refer-a-friend bonus question - everest

I know this is a very naive question, but when I go through the signup bonus for a new site (Everest), it asks me for a friend referral id.

Surely the exclusivity agreement would disallow them/me from getting some free $$ with the refer-a-friend promotion in conjunction with the signup promotion?

Otherwise this would mean it is possible signup to everest poker for the $100 and add the friend id on signup screen to give them $50 and receive $100 welcome bonus.

Perhaps the friend still receives a small amount? Either way, does anyone have an everest account and would like me to refer them? Not sure if it's worth bothering but pm me if you like.

DO you mean the Everest standard sign-up bonus, or an affiliat kickback on top of that? You should be signing up either through 2+2 or ITH for free books on top of the sign-up bonus.

If you are referring to an affiliate kickback, the quoted part above is correct. AFAIK, they are either going to pay your friend OR an affiliate for referring you, not both. If the affilate doesn't get paid, you won't get a kickback.

Cliff Notes: Sign up for Everest through 2+2 or ITH.

ok thanks just signed up through 2p2 for the book deal.

I was expecting to find a thread on the current book list to make it a bit easier to decide. Do you know where I can find a discussion on this?

I'd try the Books & Publication forum. Column B gives me the greatest difficulty, but I think consensus in that forum was that the three Poker Essay books were the way to go.

Anyway, there have been threads on this in the past in that forum. I've found the regulars there to be some of the most helpful on 2+2.

You've done this? I find it quite surprising, since that effectively means they are paying two different sources for the same player. If so, my apologies to rh2020 if I led him in the wrong direction.
