Default Beau Rivage Poker Rooms

Hi all,
Most of you know me as a tournament director. I will still wear that hat for some major events, but my job has changed. I am now the Poker Room Manager at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi. If you have played in tournament i have directed, you know where I am coming from. Our room at the Beau is second to none in its atmosphere and decor, and our casino is top notch. If you play poker in the southeast, you should book a trip here, as the casino, and the action, is fantastic. Check us out. You will not be disappointed.

Aslo, our schedule for the World poker open will be released soon, as well as a number to contact for rooms. i will post these in a week or so.

Thanks
Johnny Grooms

Congrats on the new job, Johnny. You deserve it.
I'll get (way) down there to Biloxi yet someday.

This means; no more Johnny in Tunica though? Except for January of course.

Johnny, I was at the Beau last month for the GCPC. The room was awesome and definitely second to none. But I have to say, I am not a big fan of the timed rake. Why don't you guys get a rake going like the whole of Tunica has w/ the $4 pot rake? I mean, Tunica is the place to play in the south. A $4 pot rake is so much cheaper per hour, especially for a tighty like me!!

I still posted a very favorable room review for you guys, I loved the atmosphere and the Gulf Coast is really coming along. You can see the room review by visiting my blog site at tworags.com.

Congrats Johnny. I had to bail out of the GCPC but I plan to get to the Beau in 2008.

Hi Johnny:

Normally it's our policy not to allow posts that initiate threads which are essentially just an advertisement. However, I'm going to let this one stand and congradulations on your new position.

By the way, as long as I have your attention, are there any special things you're planning on doing for members of these forums?

Best wishes,

Mason

My apologies Mason,
It wasn't intended to be an Ad. As far as special things for forum members, at this time I have no concrete plans.

Thanks all,
JG

Good luck with your new job. I've heard some good things about the room. I'll have to come visit soon.

Glad to hear it! I play in Biloxi at least two to three times a year at the Beau. In fact, I was just there on the poker room rate last Friday.

I will introduce myself the next time I am in town. Good luck!
