In which case, no offence but maybe you should resign? Modship brings certain benefits which, to be perfectly frank, you're not earning.

Yes, I'm awaiting Mat's response as we speak, but not holding my breath as he hasn't replied to my pms. I suspect it was Mat who prompted Nation to reply to this thread, I can't think of any other way in which he could have seen it.

Other than, you know, reading ATF and seeing a thread with his name in the subject line.

Thanks for making that highly witty ironic but completely wrong point. This thread was in FR up until the point where Nation posted in it. As Nation does not read or post in FR it's hard to imagine that he found it there without help.

The thread was then moved here by "a FR mod", perhaps in search of a more sympathetic audience?

I directed Nation to the thread.
Even if he gave up mod status in FR, he would retain his green cloak as mod of the travel forum.
If the other mods in FR want him and he wants to stay there, he shall remain a mod in that forum.

Thanks for the post Mat, but don't you find it just a teensy bit unsatisfactory that Nation only found that thread because you pointed him to it?

As I understand it, the other mods don't want him (see Diebitter's post on the subject). Has anyone tried asking them?

2. And what exactly has this got to do with you?

[/ QUOTE ]
It's got nothing to do with me personally. I just post in ATF threads whenever I'm right.

Yeah thanks, but I'm actually aware of what a mod should be doing. He's not even doing that.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think thats for the other FR forum mods to judge since they see the results, its not easy for a user to see what he does from the outside looking in. If they don't need his help I'm sure they will ask Mat to replace him on totally amicable terms. I guess the real question is why the jihad to run him out?

[ QUOTE ]
Re the coaching, I think that's really a question for him to answer, don't you?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm sorry, whats the question? i thought you made a statement... why does that need to be answered?

I don't see an issue here. I'm locking the thread. Any further discussion can take place privately, though I hope there isn't a need.
