Are there any good websites where I can find a brief explanation of pick 6, carryovers, how I can know if it's +ev, etc? I'm assuming I can bet on this online, but maybe not.

edit -- okay, i see that i can bet it online. do you just pick the winner for each race (i assume you're doing $2 tickets with the 324 combos of the horses you listed)?

yup, that is exactly how it goes!

I hit one in June last year for $61,000...

the parlay of the horses' win prices would have paid around $11,000!

+EV for sure

EDIT: Frankly, with the large takeout on exotics and IRS bite... the only time we should be playing these is when there is a healthy carryover.

In this instance, no one has hit the wager for two days.. so this is a juicy one!

5 out of 6 gets a consolation prize as well.

Just looked the board and if you have a winner it will be huge even without the carry over.
Not taking the favor in a few legs is gutsy. But adds to the EV

It's all good.. Southern Man put in a good effort... I didnt like the #8 although he was the "steam".

I put $20 to win on the 6 so snagged 80 bucks profit on that... I still can catch 5 of 6 and I bet the late pick four as well.. (150,000 guarantee)
