Re: WSOP Day 6 Main Event Thread
A First For The WSOP
In the next level WSOP tournament directors will be introducing a new chip to the Main Event. The $100,000 chip will be put into play. The chip has been described by tournament directors as "mint green with chocolate." Mmm....I'm hungry now |

Re: WSOP Day 6 Main Event Thread
I know it isnt only FE, but he said it was, so he would push with any 2, right?
Btw, i know its not the worst push ever, i just dont see the point of it. The payouts are climbing fast, no need to risk so many chips like this. edit: misread what he said |

Re: WSOP Day 6 Main Event Thread
Weikai Chang and Richard Betts out.
Betts with 3.2m, thought his A-J could beat Gold's A-K. Gold over 13m. |

Re: WSOP Day 6 Main Event Thread
Marc Friedman Eliminated in 39th place ($247,399)
Marc Friedman raises to $100,000 in early position. William Thorsson calls in the big blind. The flop comes J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and both players check. The turn is the Qspade and Thorsson bets $150,000. Friedman re-raises all-in for $800,000 more and Thorsson calls. Freidman shows A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] but Thorsson is in the lead with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] . The river is the 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and Friedman is eliminated in 39th place. After the hand, Thorsson is up to $6,350,000. |
