Sagarin is silly, he even admits his numbers don't make sense until later in the season.

Having said that, +3 I took when it opened.

I like Miami because of the matchups. I've had an offer up on Matchbook for a while but only $30 has been taken so far. I moved it a couple cents to try to ensure that I get some action before game time.

Unranked team favored over a ranked team. In hoops the unranked has been a pretty good bet the last few years. Anybody got stats like this for football?

I don't like much on the board this week, but I do like the Canes.

Miami -2.5 -110

I am looking to add ML and possibly the Under, depending on weather.
However, Miami often wins with their backs to the wall, like the BC game last year, as a 3.5 dog on the road they won outright, after being down 14-3.

From another site.

The Aggies are ranked #20th in the nation and that has many people believing they should be the chalk in this one but we’re not buying into that one bit. They’ve played three cupcakes in Montana St., Fresno St and UL Munroe. They’ve been torched defensively and were very fortunate to even beat the Bulldogs in a game they squeaked out 47-45. UL Munroe ran for 215 yards against this soft defense of the Aggies last week. Sure, A&M has racked up a ton of yards but again, look at the opposition. That’s not to say they aren’t dangerous because they are. That offense, with a rock solid running game of their own, will move the chains on just about anyone. However, it’s the defense that you should be concerned about because the Hurricanes can also run and that’ll be their game plan here to keep the Aggies “O” off the field. Furthermore, the Hurricanes have played a much tougher schedule and that should really help them here. They lost to #5 Oklahoma by a score of 51-13 but the score is way worse then the Hurricanes performance. They were down just 21-10 at the half and some late turnovers resulted in the Sooners outscoring them 20-0 in the fourth quarter. Despite the score, the Canes defense did a very adequate job against the powerful Sooners. In fact, the defense has performed very well in all three games and that’s going to be the difference in this one too. Miami +2
