Need house at sunshine or lake louise
Anyone know any ballers who are living at sunshine, lake louise, or banff who have a room to rent out for a month or 2?

Re: Need house at sunshine or lake louise
i don't think there are any houses at sunshine mountain itself.
your best bet would probably be in banff because the town of lake louise is small and won't have as much available as banff. how old are you, and are you going to work there? most places of employment have staff accomodation. my friend may be going back there. we were there 7 years ago at the ripe age of 19. it's awesome. |

Re: Need house at sunshine or lake louise
I'm 24, not going to be doing any work just bringing the laptop and I'll play a bit of poker, mostly just boarding though. Thinking about just staying in a hostel now, any advice on a good one?

Re: Need house at sunshine or lake louise
Try Canmore. It's pretty far from Louise but is driveable and there are a crap load of rental places there (check vrbo.com) or just craigslist.
Also, a quick google pulled up two hostels in Lake Louise itself: The Alpine HI http://www.hihostels.ca/PM/en/lakelo...?sortcode=2.22 and http://www.hihostels.ca/PM/en/abhost...?sortcode=2.19 and in Canmore: http://www.hihostels.ca/PM/en/abhost...?sortcode=2.18 I just drove through there last week and was yearning to see snow. The skiing is incredible. Have fun. |

Re: Need house at sunshine or lake louise
There are no longterm residences in Lake Louise for non employees, unless you can afford a hotel for that long. Agree with octopi that Canmore is your best bet, despite being an hour away.
