Default TPTK vs. DrunkPPlaya

I haven't played much with him, but my image at the table is pretty maniacal. I've been raising nearly every pot, including 3-betting and even 4-betting for the past two or three orbits.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $3/$6 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $531.75
BB: $597.00
Hero (UTG): $804.45
MP: $465.00
CO: $992.50
BTN: $1,070.85

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
Hero raises to $21.00, MP folds, CO calls $21.00, 2 folds, BB calls $15.00

Flop: ($66) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $58.00, CO calls $58.00, BB folds

Turn: ($182) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $140.00, Hero calls $140.00

River: ($462) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets all-in for $773.50, Hero folds
Uncalled bet of $773.50 returned to CO

Pot Size: $462.00 ($3 Rake)

Agreed, river is tough though, I would be tempted to call vs him though I think, is that bad?

I think calling the river is pretty bad, though i'm not too familiar w/ this villain. What do you expect to beat on the river?

FWIW, the action leads me to believe he has 88, TT (would he RR this PF?), AJ, J9, QJ, QK (although for some reason I feel QJ is a strong possibility), and maybe 97. Is this a reasonable range?

what about 8-T, A-T, A-8/A-5suited? Even a small chance that he floated w/ 55 against OP's "maniacal" play - though that is obviously less likely. Do we know villain's tendency to bet a draw on the turn when checked to?

88 I can see him showing up with, but thats about the only real hand I can see him having here unless he floated the flop and backed into a straight or something. He's very aggro and likes to play fast in my experience, so I don't think he ever shows up with a flopped 2 pr here, and he is always 3 betting TT pre and AJ a lot of the time as well. 79s is in his range as well here I suppose, and I agree that he could be turning JQ/KQ into a bluff on the river here. Folding is proably best here, but I can definately think of a few good arguments for calling.
