If he was only in for $100 and the $15K is lifechanging for him (credit card, house forclosure, whatever), then I understand, but to buy in for $10K than fold AA 3 times is just awful.

I think they're saying he bought into the shooting stars event for 10K after winning his money after satelliting into the other event.
