For the answer to this moral dilemma we must consult Jerry Seinfeld.

" On my block, a lot of people walk their dogs, and I always see them walking
along with their little poop bags, which to me is just the lowest function of
human life. If aliens are watching this through telescopes, they're gonna think
the dogs are the leaders. If you see two life forms, one of them's making a
poop, the other one's carrying it for him, who would you assume was in charge?"

Tx I ususally disagree with just about everything you say, but I am in total agreement here.

It's one thing if you are in a park or someone else's yard, but this sounds like the standard dog [censored] place. I say leave it.

that bitch fined me $50.

lol.

i think i'll pay it in pennies.

but given the overwhelming response from OOT, i am now going to pick up my dogs [censored] when he [censored] in the courtyard.

[/ QUOTE ]

According to Federal Law a person may reject payment in pennies. They must take it if it's in nickles.

Yeah I'm pretty sure poop fines are covered in the 27th amendment.

Your dog [censored] in public, you're supposed to clean up after it. End of story.

guids,

2nd post and you summed up the thread perfectly. Well played as always.

tx,

Pick up after your dog. No one wants [censored] all over the place. Just because no one else is picking up the [censored] does not mean you don't have to. Man up, pick up the [censored].

I don't care that it's been said 50 times and that you've decided you're going to pick up after your dog. It can't hurt to say it again.
Until you train your dog to clean up his own [censored], you are responsible for it. If it's not your property, you should pick it up.

We already know TxRedMan is a self-centered jerkoff yet he keeps on proving it daily.

[/ QUOTE ]

In Tex's defense, he can actually be an extremely loyal friend.

Granted he's brash and outspoken, but he's a good guy in the end.

Aside from that, I'm not a dog owner, more of a cat person myself. But I would think it's common courtesy to clean up after your dog.

I haven't been to this particular locale, nor do I know the people involved in the altercation, or the use of the area. So it's hard to say.

I agree it does suck when everyone else is doing something and YOU are the one chosen out of the lineup as guilty.

I guess Tex could always clean up the poop, all of it, including other dogs. Then leave the big steaming pile in front of this lady's door with a note letting her know you're glad you could help keep the courtyard clean..... [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
