Default AA55ss pre in BB vs button open

Button seems like he might be winning in this game. SB is donkish.
Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 4 players
Hand Converter Tool from DeucesCracked.com

CO: $67.10
Button: $50.00
SB: $43.10
BB: $52.10

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
CO calls $0.50, Button raises to $2.25, SB calls $2, Hero raises to $9.50

1 second after I raised pot I just thought "wtf am I doing?!". Putting the button in a perfect position to play against me. He knows what I have and has position and I have no clue, right? So what do I do here? Call, maybe even minraise or so?

I don't know. There's like $20 in the pot. I have $40 left. I'm oop with my opponent pretty much knowing what I have. So how do I play that postflop?

Watch the 5 hit. C-bet. watch him try and bluff raise. kick his butt.

This is standard. It is true you are OOP but maximizing profits in Omaha is about pushing thin edges.

You would need to often need to lead most flops with your "standard" sized continuation bets.

I also disagree that your opponent would need to know what you are holding, but hopefully your 3-bet range from the blinds is larger than AAxx!

Of course it is. But the games on ftp plo $50 are so passive, you can't be that wrong if you always assume AAxx when somebody reraises. He doesn't know that my range is wider and in fact I do have AAxx this time.

Undoubtedly true, you can definitely read most players having AAxx mostly if you're re-raised in most small and micro-stakes Omaha games.

You should read some past threads. There are lots of obvious aces posts where the villian loses because of hero's sidecards. I would only do miniraise if it will cause sb to pot commit preflop.

Reraising's not bad, but I'd lean toward a call with stack sizes/side cards. If you were just a little bit shallower, had double-suited aces, had QJ or JT with your AA, or had shown down at least one hand where you 3-bet a rundown, then 3-betting here would be correct.
