I am of two minds about this thread.

Neither is sane.

Off-note:
I have received the coolest write-up of all time.

[ QUOTE ]
King Theoden rode forth onto the field of battle with his Rohirrim. They cut a swath through the orcs, like a scythe through wheat.

Then Theoden said to his men, "You go that way to fight more orcs. Meanwhile, I will disguise myself as the creature known as Gollum, for who would want to hurt Gollum?" His men looked at him like he was insane, and quickly tied him up and beat him to death for his fancy play.

[/ QUOTE ]

Corollary:
I am not proud of this
[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] sighing, though. I'll never forget that moment in my time as a werewolf player.

I think it's with that writeup that I give up my FPS way and turn instead to FPS: Fancily Playing, Subtilely

3. Personally, I'm an obnoxious nit. I won't comment on the rest of them.

I believe in the two way-action.

Anyway, this thread was probably worthless and should die.

Read soah's advanced villager strategy post for actual enlightenment.

That appears to be a 700 year old alternate spelling.

Very strange. Whatever, it was new, and (like I said), I'm a nit.

This new FPS trend is horrible. luckayluck and lastchance and Eskimo and ScottHoward want to be a hero or do something fancy. they don't want to be part of a team.

what I would like to see happen more often is more villagers making the following statements near-nighttime who usually don't "FPS". Consider this the first step. It's very +EV, especially when it comes from somebody who usually doesn't do this stuff.

"If I die tonight, let it be known that I thought that X, Y, and Z were villagers." X is the number of seer peeks that should have happened by then.

[/ QUOTE ]If everyone promised to ignore these statements for the purposes of lynching, at least until the seer is dead, I would be neutral on these statements.

But I know that's not going to happen, and in fact some players are going to try to bully the village this way, so I hate it.
