That wasnt a bluff, he donked all his chips in thinking he had the best hand...

[/ QUOTE ]The awesome thing about this post is that you saw his cards you still misread Jordan's bet.

I guess this is forgivable since they didn't show the PF action in which the pot was 3bet. Jordan was representing QQ+ PF and he was quite aware of this. The only thing that Santoro beats here is a bluff (both PF AND on the flop), so his lay down is actually pretty good (since Jordan is betting for value most of the time here).

I hope that makes more sense and you understand now why it was a bluff and not a donk move with TPWK.

[/ QUOTE ]

with "donked" i didnt mean a donkbet but a weak move. Anyway , i cant recall whether they did show any preflop action or not, but if they didnt, that changes a lot.

[/ QUOTE ]I understood this completely. And it does look like a weak "ZOMG- TOP PAIR!" kind of move without realizing the PF action. However, Morgan is very good and these guys were playing much deeper than you normally see in televised tournaments (these were the two chip leaders if I recall correctly). Morgan definitely was not moving in based on the strength of his hand.

[/ QUOTE ]They did not show it, but when I first saw the broadcast I guessed that it was a 3bet pot because it was so big. My guess was confirmed by Morgan on this board in the USPC thread; he also confirmed that the bet was intended as a bluff and not for value.

Not quite 2p2ers, but one of my favourite TV bluffs was SDouble's river shove on a 4 flush board vs TranquilChaos, in the WPT episode that Freddy Deeb won.

[/ QUOTE ]
Dude, Schleins got game. That was such a sick play. I loved how he insta-called Porters raise on the turn with 73os, then proceeded to insta-shove the river when Devin made that weak bet. I was like .

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree. I didn't know much about deeper levels of the game when I watched this, and my head almost exploded.

I know this is quite off-topic since Ivey isn't at all a 2+2er but still, can anyone here explain to me w/ some accuracy how could Ivey pull THAT ONE vs Paul Jackson?

I mean, I really don't get how he fires that 4th raise. Up to this point it's OK, but then it becomes outstanding. Feel free to make fun of me if it's totally standard tho. Phil Ivey is an animal.
