Default NO JOKE DOYLES ROOM IS NOT PAYING ME (long)

Before I start, I AM 100% SURE DOYLE'S ROOM OWES ME MONEY AND HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF PAYING ME ANYMORE. I'm not talking about checks that are on the way or that [censored] being tranferred to full tilt. That is all done and fine, my problem is before all this, about a month ago. The amount is several thousand dollars. I know i've never posted, so my credibility can be questioned, but i can assure you I am an honest and respected pro both online and in las vegas cardrooms(Bellagio, Wynn). I have no reason to try to rip doyles room off, that site has been my main source of income over the past six months or so. My name is J-Dubya on there, you would certainly know me if you play the bigger NL games there(5-10 through 20-40).

So where do I start with the unbelievable lack of customer service and support the past month at doyles room??!! I know they are busy, but they truly don't seem to care one bit about even their most regular bigger limit players. Since Neteller closed down i have requested many checks from doyles room. For some reason they wouldn't increase my cashout limit to above $3000 at a time even though i e-mailed them several times about it. I would send a long ass e-mail talking about how much money i had in there(ninety some thousand)and it would take forever to get it out 3k at a time. This is the super-professional response i would get:

to cash out more than 3000 you have to email me
jose

Exactly like that, no caps or periods or anything(which i don't really care about but shows their professionalism). So I just didn't get it, cause apperently all the e-mails i had sent them didn't count as e-mails or what? I know i have to contact you Jose, thats what i'm [censored] doing and have been doing! Finally, they would sometimes group together some of my cashouts and send like a 6k check. So this wasn't completely to my satisfaction but i could deal with it i guessed. My first check withdrawal was January 19th and continued steadily until Feb 20. Then finally the rest was transferred to full tilt feb 22 around $20,000. So here is the problem. My cashouts on my cashouts page added up to $77,156. I have recieved $62,156. I contacted them today cause i thought one more check was on the way but they assured me that there wasn't. Now I know you are probably thinking that i just didn't count a few of my checks or something. But this is not the case. I got a report sent from doyles room themselves, since neteller shut down, containing their records of every check that was sent to me and any deposits to epassporte. This number adds up to the $62,156. I have examined my cashout page many, many times and it always adds up to $77,156. So where is the other $15,000? It was most definetely deducted from my account, without a single doubt 100%.

I'm not sure if this is an honest mistake or what. I noticed that there were problems about two weeks ago. I have been trying to inform them of this since then. They don't listen to me, they don't give me straight answers. Good ole Jose just tells me that my account must be reviewed and says that he will do it and to contact him later about it. This has gone on and on. He doesn't say he'll get a hold of me after he figures it out. Just "try back later", that's the best he can do and he is head of accounting. He doesn't say anything about my money being safe or if there is a problem it will certainly be resolved. It usaully goes like this:

J-Dubya: jose please, i am 100% sure that there are mistakes on my cashout page and i've been shorted

jose: we'll have to review your account

J-Dubya: if i could just talk to you for two minutes on the phone i could explain what i think is going on

jose: we are very busy sir

J-Dubya: i can even give you the transaction numbers please

jose: try back later please sir

J-Dubya: just add up my cashout page and compare it with what you've sent me, it's impossible for you not to miss it if you took five minutes to do it

jose: you are not our only customer please try back later once we have reviewed your account

this has gone on about 2 weeks every other day about.
So i contact him today on the chat and he says

we reviewed your account and we don't owe you money

i begged and pleaded with him some more about looking at what had been deducted from my account and he just gives some vague [censored] answers again. And if i was wrong, couldn't he explain what the mix up was? Nope, this guy probably hasn't even looked at my account, if he had he could see cause it's plain as [censored] day. I am totally sure of this.

So since i'm complaining my ass off about my misfortune let me tell you how i also got kinda screwed out of $4,500 that also concerns the good folks at doyles room. Their player points are called "action points" I had accumulated and not used 3 million of these. So you can redeem 1 mllion points for 1,500 dollars if you are the highest level of player there, which i am. So about a month or more ago i decide i want to start redeeming them for cash so i e mail support. They write me back telling me that there is some issue with my account or the technichans have to do something or some [censored], but my action points would be redeemed asap(they promised me actually). I gave it a few days... nothing. So i write them back and we do the exact same [censored]. I give it a few days... nothing. Then i start writing them everday about it so they know i'm serious and they stop writing me back. Then I hear DR is leaving the U.S. market. I continue to write them everyday still but now also tell them that, "surely they wouldn't screw over such a long term, valued player such as myself right?" A few days go by and i get what i was sure was coming. Yep, my action can be conviently trasferred to full tilt to buy merchandise and they apoligize but they can't redeem them for cash anymore. I believe they knew a month before exactly what was going on and i guess that's why they wouldn't redeem them for cash. I am a Doyle's VIP member and it has all kinds of perks!!! So anyway it's not a total loss, i can still buy stuff at the ftp store but it's still pretty [censored] business.

So i'm thinking they aren't going to do anything about my money. especially once march 1st rolls around they are probably in the clear i guess. I know some players at bellagio who know doyle so maybe someone will help me talk to him or something. I saw his personal gaurantee in an ad in cardplayer which is rather interesting. I havn't posted about this the past two weeks cause i was hoping it would be resolved but i have no other choice now. I hate to give Doyle and his site a bad rep but man, he really needs some compentent workers running his site. Has anyone else had any problems? I'm still a little nervous about seeing if i get my full amount of player points transferred over.

Anyway i hope this story gets to a lot of other sites and a bunch of people hear of this cause it is some real BS! I know alot of people have alot bigger problems than something like this but it still sucks.

oh ya to make you feel more sorry for me i have 15k in neteller. Needless to say, i'm pulling all my money offline and going to play live again. Thanks Frist you [censored] piece of [censored]!!!

Doyles room shorted him $15,000 in cashouts and screwed him out of $4500, what his action points were worth through the vip program. They refuse to help him in recovering his funds.

He also has $15,000 locked up in Neteller.

it's an interesting read actually.

GL getting your $$ OP.

Try to speak with someone other than Jose.
Perhaps go to casinomeister.com and see if they will take on your case and try to help you. Although they might be kind of busy these days with all the other semi-similar "can't get my freaking money" situations.

Does P5's help players who can't get to their money too? Not sure.

Doyle's should be able to see how much they paid you just by the checks that were cashed. This should be really easy to determine whether you were shorted.
Jose definitely doesn't seem to be very helpful.

Not sure what Doyle might be able to do.
they're getting rid of the U.S. players and I'm wondering if he doesn't want to get out completely due to the risk.
But if you can get somebody to get him to sit and talk with you about it that would definitely be worth a shot to see if he can do anything.
The site IS named for him afterall.

jdubya, its sd bum from doyles. Have you also found their support to be very terrible the last couple weeks. They dont give a [censored] about any american player anymore. How did you get your money out of there? I asked for checks and they wont send them to me. You have it sent over to FT?

hey sd bum. ya their support is unbelievably bad right now. They don't seem to care about my problems or alot of other people's obv. As far as cashing out i think you just have to send it to full tilt now. That's what i did with my remaining balance. You know what the kicker is-when i transferred my remaining 20k to full tilt they sent it through two times. i thought they had found the error and were paying me in full. Then the next day the 2nd 20k had been taken back out of full tilt. They had just accidentally sent it twice!! i was real happy for a day. what are the odds...

OP: Since Doyle personally guaranteed you: if I were you I would have a talk with Doyle and see what he can do. If not Doyle, then at least Todd. (Only because Todd of course should be in contact with Doyle.) $15k I think is something he should care about. At this point you aren't just another person complaining about a book, your talking about a real amount of money. I would have to think that Doyle would be able to get you in touch with someone who can figure this out.

Whatever you do, if you do contact Doyle, treat the man with some respect and don't treat him like he's just another Indian tech support guy. After all, if you came up to me asking for my help and you were rude/etc. to me, I probably wouldn't do anything for you.

Besides, it sounds like you're in Vegas quite often anyhow, shouldn't be much for you to grab a few minutes of Doyle or Todd's time.

Wow. Anyone remember Highlands? (Doyle's previous site.)
They gave me the exact same problems about five years ago.
Locked my account, wouldn't answer emails. Then I came on here, posted "Highlands are a bunch of thieves!", and suddenly they were emailing me saying they'd been trying to get through to me (liars as well as thieves.) I got my money, a few weeks later they went bust... sounds like the same jokers are still working for him. Just let them know you're telling the world about them here and anywhere else you can think of.

OP,
Write a very concise letter.

I would do something like:

Mr. Brunson,

In cashing out my account from your poker room, a discrepancy has come about. My cashouts are $15,000 less than my balance. After a number of e-mails support told me that I wasn't owed any money, but couldn't offer an explanation for the discrepancy.

Here is my account balance and a list of my transactions:

Could you please have someone look into this issue?

Include your screen name and contact info.

Have your friend give it to Doyle.

J-Dubya, I played with you a lot in the last few months (several thousand hands) and you were a tough opponent.

I'm sorry to hear abt this. I've also found their support to be absolutely incompetent and absolutely horrific. They transferred my entire balance to Full Tilt even though I requested a cashout via check. They stopped answering my emails after I requested they investigate and retrieve my money (this was back when FT wasnt sending checks, now I don't mind).

Something fishy is going on over at DR. I wish you the best of luck and I'd try to get in touch with Doyle personally.

Ezra
