BIG BROTHER: Game Thread
Welcome to the Big Brother house, POG Edition.
My name is Zurvan, I have replaced Julie Chen, who was killed in a horrible plastic surgery accident. Despite rumours to the contrary, it was not a plot by Les Moonves to remove the worst reality TV host in history. My Co-host is MEbenhoe. The 12 of you have been selected to enter the house. You will spend the next several weeks living in the Big Brother house, competing to outlast your fellow guests to win the Grand Prize. Due to budgetary contraints, the prize is not $500,000 as it was in the past. You may get a custom title. Or not. If nothing else, you will have the pride of having outwitted 11 other people. Here's how the game works. Each "week" you will compete for the prize of "Head of Household". As HoH, you cannot be voted out. However, the HoH will be responsible for nominating 2 of your fellow houseguests. There will be a veto competition, where one houseguest will gain the power to save one of the currently nominated houseguests. After the veto competition, you will be asked to vote for one of the 2 nominated houseguests. Whichever one has the most votes will be evicted. In the case of a tie, the HoH casts the deciding vote. However, the evicted houseguests will still have a role to play. When we have reached the final 2 contestants, they will vote for the winner. All evicted houseguests - please continue to follow the game thread. And, do not talk to the remaining or other evicted houseguests about the game at any time. You will periodically be asked to enter the diary room to give your private thoughts about the other players. Some of these may be revealed anonymously during the game. Others will only be revealed during the final vote for the winner. And now, Houseguests, prepare to enter the house. For your first visit to the diary room, tell us who you think has the best chance of winning, besides yourself, and why. Send it to MEbenhoe some time today.
