Mix of all 3...to some extent..
I play mostly 2-5 and 5-10 NLH...in Chicagoland area...and if you only go with #3 you simply arent going to be a profitable player... Id honestly say 80% of the time if I have a decent one pair holding or are just stealing with position/continuation 60% of the pot is excellent to bet. |

agree with most who have posted so far; combo of 2 and 3.
The thing is, 3 as phrased is too extreme. Just add "your holdings" to the list of factors in #2. 1 gives up way too much imo, particularly with regard to flop texture. That said, generally my bet sizes in standard situations (cbet, second barrel) are in a pretty tight range. |

I'm in school 2 against most players, but as Lyric pointed out... against real weak players you should just go with school 3.
And school one can be fine. |
