No organization can have any credibility that has the nations I bolded in this post on their Human Rights Commission. From another post I did. Iran elected deputy for Asian nations of UN Commission on Disarmament Neither can organization have any credibility that puts Iran as the leader of a disarmament commission. Iran is violating international law currently. Read Gamblor's posts about Israel and the U.N. for further enlightenment.

adios that is a kneejerk rationalization about why the UN is a bogus organization. Let's commit ourselves to it and do as the UN says and then work to make it an organization worthy of it's stated job. The UN said we shouldn't go to war in Iraq and we did anyway. Going to war (and kiling what, 100,000 Iraqis? no number because we don't keep track)... going to war against what the UN says is worse than electing the wrong country of leader of disarmament comission.

Thank you Koffi and Mr Brown. I think the UN is a corupt steaming-hot-bag-of-**** and I would love to see the USA withdraw from this useless organization.
Brown's arrogant and condescending speech made no friends in the USA. Obviously the kook American liberals liked his message but for most sane Americans, the speech was arrogant and insulting. Please keep talking Mr Brown. PLEASE!!!!
